Clearly, they “feared for their lives”. At least, that’s what they’ll say.

Right now, there’s little consequence to shooting black people you THINK MIGHT have a gun.

I think it’s really time to pass a law providing consequences for any killing of anyone by a cop - kill anyone, ‘good shoot’ or not, and you stop being a cop, anywhere, forever. Provide educational and job retraining benefits, whatever, but you can’t be a cop anymore. Period.

That will create a lot of security guards who have killed and might kill again.
