Still love Greyhound. Took one from Baja Alabama to NYC last year for a funeral, mostly because Greyhound had played a big part in our history. I texted to Daughter1: “Counting the cars on the New Jersey turnpike”. She put it on a coffee mug for me.
That’s great! I had some interesting conversations on the Greyhound buses. And I have always loved staring out the window while moving past the landscape. One of my life goals is to travel down the western coast of Japan on a series of local trains. In some places the tracks are wedged between mountains and the ocean and the sights are stunning.
