Depending on how many candidates are alive for Super Tuesdayā€¦ there is an outside chance for a brokered convention.

Thereā€™s the four early contests (IA, NH, NV, and SC) then thereā€™s Super Tuesday which includes California, Texas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Virginia as the big states on March 3. Early/absentee voting in California is going to start around February 3, which happens to be the same day as the Iowa caucuses.

With that wrinkle of early voting happening when the first four contests are going on, we might not see the traditional field narrowing until after Super Tuesday.

In other words: shit could get real weird, man.

I really hope it doesnā€™t come to that. I hope by this time next spring we have an idea who the nom will be and unite around him/her. I love the Berners double standard tho. Itā€™s okdy for Bernie to win with 30% of the vote but somehow Clinton ā€œstoleā€ it from him even though she got a higher percentage of the popular vote than Obama did in the 2008 primaries. Bernie busters are very undemocratic when Bernie is concerned.
