The murder is not because of the adultery. That’s not a consequence. That’s a consequence of how much we build people up to believe adultery is an ultimate betrayal and they should go insane when it happens to them.
Note the focus on his career with guns and little mention of his actions with anothers wife. The guns are bad and the affair okay? Gimme a break, that’s just stupid. And telling.
The guns in no way led or contributed to his death. The affair contributes only in so far as some asshole believes that that incredibly immoral response is the right choice.
The affair isn’t ‘ok’, but it’s none of our business at all and it’s nothing to harm another person over.
