Yes, I’ve been hearing about the radicalization of Israel. I guess it’s understandable in some ways, but it is frightening to think that what we had considered our analogue in Israel— a vibrant democracy— is becoming our new potential future: an extremist Judeo-Christianist state.

Not sure about the “Judeo-Christianist” label. It will be very uncomfortable living as a Christian in a Jewish-theocratic Israel (should it ever happen - God forbid), just as it will be very uncomfortable living as a Jew in a Christian-theocratic America. IOW, all the hyphens will likely be forgotten.
