I had a wingnut acquaintance back in the day who always suggested “Well just move if you don’t like the laws in your state.” It’s not that simple.

We did that when Mary Fallin and the wingnut crew were elected in Oklahoma, taking a loss on our house there to move here. We can’t afford to do that again.
