One of the reasons Republicans punch above their weight, one of the main reasons is their ability to tightly focus. Democrats don’t do that — Democrats want to cover ALL the issues, EVERY problem, and it dilutes their effectiveness.

Just look at 2016 for a perfect example — Trump had so many scandals, so many outrages, that each got skipped over quickly because there was another problem and another one and another and another and who can even remember which one was last wednesday and which was thursday and… Hillary was e-mails e-mails e-mails e-mails, benghazi benghazi benghazi e-mails.

Bruce is correct. Pick one issue — the one that 9th graders can understand, the one that fits on a bumper sticker, the one that makes for 10-second sound bites. Forget nuance. Laser focus on that one issue. Hammer on that issue. In sync.
