I’m seeing pretty much what I expected to see: The hard-core Trump jock-sniffers latching onto his comments, while the milquetoast “moderates” offer excuses for why his comments are so totally not racist.

Or the “you’re playing the race card” from conservatives (they all seem to misunderstand what “playing the race card” means: It’s what George Wallace did and Donald Trump does.
