“Meddling.” Republicans are so desperate to protect Trump that they’ve now reduced what was the cyber equivalent of an act of war, the hacking of a political party’s server by a foreign power, into “meddling” so that they can argue that it’s on the same level as writing op-eds or posting tweets supportive of the Dem candidate.

Of course there will be no discussion by the GOP of whether said “meddling” (by any foreign power) in the 2016 should be addressed in terms of questioning the results of that election. Or how the Senate majority leader punted on addressing it at the time.

I suspect that if pressed the GOP talking heads will say that the meddling failed since it was attempting to throw the election to Clinton.
