I originally captioned my pic ” Swallowtail caterpillar in the parsley sacrifice zone”, but the the caption was eated.
I wrote the caption in the pop-up when I dragged the file into the comment box, but I wanted to check that the caption was not overlaid on the photo so I entered the image library and saw that it that option was selected. I changed it to ‘outside’, hit save and then clicked insert without noticing that the caption box was blank.
I’ve noticed that behavior before but forgot. Not sure if the overlay option is the default or if it was because it was the last selected.

I was just amused by the similarity of the pictures. That was my neighbor’s parsley that the caterpillars denuded twice. Enough time between generations this summer for it to recover.
