What’s amazing about the “Dirty Harry” films is that they were condemned, when they came out, as terribly violent. They are tame by today’s standards.

What really frosted the critics, of course, is that they had a moral center which was resoundingly anti-PC.

I knew Callahan was old-fashioned, and so I guess I should not be surprised he had strong feeling against computers.
