Just getting a jump on the GOP talking points.
Of course those plants will hire American workers who will then take the money they make and spend it in their communities creating more jobs plus the plants will need material mostly made in the US so American manufactures will be able to not lay off workers or even hire new workers.

The question of where the solar plants was made is secondary. Ideally, we would have “solar-plant seeds.” We would stick them in the ground, and without any further work on our part, they’d grow and blossom into solar plants, then put out tendrils of copper and connect themselves to the grid.

That the things we’re actually getting require further work and further inputs is an unfortunate necessity, not a bonus. Whatever materials are used in their construction are materials that could have been used to some other purpose.

Just so we get the energy without having to burn any more coal.
