Yah know what’s weird is I saw this story in twitter before SD news. Although I’m more global than local. I just hope to shit this isn’t a hate crime. Not much hope with the SDPD though, several of their officers just busted - sex payment, no ticket.

This is all very sad, but so is the current glorification of “hoodies” (and I quote you for obvious reason) as a style as opposed to a convenience. Most of us, including myself, probably have an article of clothing with a “hood” to be used according to the weather.

However there is a reason that there is a negative connotation and it is a very real reason. This, along with pants below the ass, has become a signature dress for ex cons, punks, drug dealers and hoodlums, of any race.

That it should now become a signature dress for a tragic miscarriage of justice (if that is what it becomes) is in itself tragic.
