When McCain chose her, I thought hey interesting choice but then Sarah opened her mouth and proved that not only is she a mean spirited bigot, she’s an ignorant mean spirited bigot. I guess mean spirited bigot and ignorant mean spirited bigot are kind of one and the same though?

You know, it’s not even that she’s ignorant. It’s that she’s stupid. Ignorance, even willful ignorance can be addressed with information. Stupid can’t. Now I know that it’s not nice to call someone stupid, and generally I agree we shouldn’t shit on people for things that aren’t their fault. But this is someone whom a distressingly large fraction of the electorate thought would be a good person to run the most powerful nation in history, at a time when we faced one of the worst economic crises we’ve ever faced, and she’s not even smart enough to reliably add 2 and 2.
