Can’t win a war holed up in a bunker. I don’t see these yokels having the money nor brain power to develop/purchase high tech mechanical weaponry that can be controlled from inside a bunker. They could plant booby traps and mine fields around their bunkers, but that would just be them imprisoning themselves. On second thought, carry on.
