You know, I was soft on Hillary, too, but have come to realize that this was due to decades of effective GOP propaganda. It inflames his base of dupes and deplorables, dissuades busy voters, and depresses partisan enthusiasm like mine, all at the same time.

I refuse to grant them such power and now love Hillary, Kerry, and Gore who all bore this unfair burden in my head. I believe that any of them could have equaled my respect and admiration for Obama, given the chance.

I think she genuinely did make some missteps, especially in the 2008 primary - but she learned from them. She took responsibility and made changes and honestly that kind of introspection and growth is fucking hard and a lot of people don’t want to bother. I can respect someone who owns up to that.
