I have a Keurig in my office at work And use a refillable k-cup so I can buy coffee I like. Works great for that purpose and I don’t have to drink the swill my cow orkers brew in the communal pot.

And that is exactly what they excel at. Why you’d need one at home escapes me. If you use the pre-made cups they’re expensive and wasteful. If you use a refillable one you lose the convenience.

I love the look of Chemex. But they’re way too tall to fit in my cupboard, so Melitta it is for us. You grind the coffee, pour hot water over it and, poof! You have coffee.
