If he brings up abortion again, I’ll remind him. Seriously, I do generally like what he has to say. If anything, he’s helping me cling to the vestiges of what remains of my faith in Jesus. But he takes a “seamless garment” approach to life issues, and I’m just reminding him that it’s not as simple as he makes it out to be.

Militant pro-lifers get the full double-barrel of my vitriol if/when they cross my path, because I do not put up with that shit, not for a moment.

Still have such “warm” memories of taking a coworker to the clinic because her boyfriend beat her because she got pregnant. We had to walk through the gauntlet of ignorant assholes yelling at us calling her a slut and whore.

I will never forgive the priest who spat on my face. The same asshole who was exposed as a child molester…
