That’s a touch-and-go thing in most of the USA. If you’re near a Chinatown, ask the locals where they go to eat Chinese food. Or peek in a restaurant and see how many diners are Asian. A menu in Chinese is another tipoff.

There is currently only one place in Hayward - Panda something or Somthing Panda. It’s classic americanized Chinese food. Well done for what it is and all the usual suspects are on the menu, but to think it’s like what I’d get in the middle of China?

OTOH, the beef, broccoli, onion & mushroom in brown sauce is very good to me. Certainly better than the beef & bell pepper served on the Bebop :)
