Right - Verecundiam fallacy. I remember a friend on another forum, who was reasonable if conservative until Obama was elected, and then he totally lost his shit. Disbelieveing AGW became a religious principle for him, which he tried to argue scientifically, but he’d say things like “This blogger, who has a background in science, states that there are not enough weather stations to measure warming”, about a blogger who had a BS in Psychology.
