The problem is that no one to date has found the exact right response. You can’t address everything Trump vomits on the stage, but getting bogged down in minutae will get you run over.

I’d look for a very finely-tuned insult / dismissal. The Reagan “there you go again” is almost right, but I’d want a bit more straight mockery of the alternative facts at play.

“Oh look, your incompetence is showing. Again.”

I liked the suggestion someone here had yesterday. When Trump tries one of his bullshit answers, Joe should just say ‘Answer the damn question.’
