Since some of the rest of you know more about such things than I do, what are the chances that Trump will follow Hitler and kill himself?

I really hope he doesn’t since, among other things, it would tend to put too much of the guilt on him personally rather than on the Republican party that has loyally nurtured, abetted and supported him throughout his reign of insanity.
As we have said many times here, Trump is not an aberration. He is the entirely logical outcome of 50 years of Republican malfeasance and corruption. If he offs himself, they will try to put as much of it as possible on him, and go right on with a new standard-bearer. It’s obvious that quite a few younger GOPers are angling for that job right now.
