Yep. The only reason Bush invaded Iraq on his own was because he knew that they were incapable of fighting back…they surrendered all the way to Baghdad and then the eight year guerilla war started.

Iran would fight back…casualties on both sides would be in the tens of thousands. It’s a lose-lose.
