And we need to think of Trump’s statements in those terms. He may be deranged, but he’s getting this from people around him and he’s about to have power.

For example, Trump’s tweets about “vote fraud” is just the opening salvo in a concerted GOP assault on voting rights which will emanate from Congress, the Department of Justice and the courts.
