Generations are not monolithic. Nor are they rigidly defined by birthdates.

I know. My parents are the same age as the Clintons but I’m ten years older than Chelsea. One of us doesn’t fall in the right dividing line. But it’s a pretty good representation of people born around the end of WW2 being a different generation than the one before.
