Mattis: 3 years with a lack of mature leadership. That’s damning indictment of Mattis. He was there, and did nothing. The reality is that his failures to act to stop Trump years ago are coming back to destroy the nation now.

His silence and assent cost lives.

As Stonekettle noted in the thread with all the conservatives telling him he need to learn about the military (LOL), what makes for a good military officer doesn’t necessarily make for a good politician.

Gen. Mattis was a good Marine general. He was a lousy politician.
