Looking at how genuinely damned stupid some elected officials are, what would it take to require just a basic knowledge test on civics and history to be able to run for federal or state House and senate seats? The stupid absolute ignorance of just basic knowledge is killing the country. Is it too much to ask that they understand the job and what it entails?
