When I hear someone advocating torture, I see a sociopath, someone without empathy. I always thought there were few sociopaths among us. Now, I think there are a lot more than I eve suspected and it freaks me out.

Actually, I think someone wrote a book about that, not long ago. But I don’t know if the wanna-torture people are technical sociopaths; I think it’s largely a fear-based thing.
