Matt Drudge has an opinion and uses few words to express it. i don’t think he has billed himself as an arbiter of all higher truth. He links to a lot of crap that has little credibility, or uses a link description more bombastic than the tone of the linked material.

Like 90% of the rest of the web trying to make the money he does.

He uses this “bombastic tone” which follows a business model that he has created over the years. It is highly partisan. He also includes mocking and visual images. One of the bi-products over the years is that the right will use his website to define the daily dialogue.
