I was 1,000s of miles away! I swear!

I think the articles I saw at the time were that it was just after the fireworks, which is kind of amusing because just after we heard the fireworks start the skies opened up and it poured for about 15 minutes.

Fortunately our outdoor table was underneath a stairwell and so we were able to stay dry. (The drinks there were very, very tasty.)
