It’s going to get worse before it gets better. There’s no sign of an end to the drought at this point. Meanwhile, the Republican Party is fighting tooth and nail to prevent any action whatsoever on climate change. This country is fucked up.

It’s not the country that’s fucked up. It’s the extractive industries protecting market share (and willing paid political mouthpieces) that are fucked up.

The media is complicit by trying to be “fair”. If they simply said that Professor X was full of shit, it would go a long way to stopping the bullshit. Then again, 50% go Americans don’t accept the idea of Evolution. When you’ve got a population that ignorant, it’s easy to sell Climate Change as an Ivory Tower hoax.

So, on reflection, I’ll retract. The country *is* fucked up.
