Max Abrahms has echoed that sentiment, and still puts al Nursa ahead of IS on the threat matrix. I tend to concur.

It’s ridiculous that this is even a partisan issue in the first place. Anti-terrorism really has only one absolute requirement: total honesty in evaluating what works, what doesn’t work, and an ability to learn lessons as needed.

How the hell can this be a partisan dispute?
