OK, I despise their choices and their sheer self-blinded ignorance. But their kids and grandkids maybe don’t have a vote yet.

So? They’d vote the same way, as their parents did, and grandparents, and great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents. The party label has changed, but the story remains the same.
