This the the only thing that would actually make me believe in a god: a moon, created from a collision with proto-earth, is large enough, and at the correct distance, to block out the rightaount of sun so that you can see something you would not otherwise be able to see, the corona.

For now anyway. Remember the moon is moving away from us, so far in the future it wont cover the whole sun and far in the past it covered everything so you wouldn’t have seen the corona.
