Agreed. I’m not religious, but I do have politically active friends who are. Unfortunately, a significant number of left-leaning people are not religious, and frequently dismissive of religion. Mutual education would be great.

I don’t know about “left-leaning people,” but the overwhelming majority of Democrats are Christians.

It’s amazing how conservative propaganda (Democrats hate religion) seeps even into conversations on the left.
