I really don’t understand why the media thinks that being under investigation would be in any way disqualifying for this administration. In a sane world, he’d have been bounced on his ass after the first misrememberance on his clearance application. Check that, in a sane world, such an under-qualified choad wouldn’t be able to take a tour of the White House, much less be part of the admin.

Exactly right! And the full context is important here. None of it should have been acceptable. All this has been normalized in under 2 years.
