the future fight with China and Russia, if it comes to pass, will be digital. We’ve seen Russia already interfere in the internal elections of the US and two of our closest long term allies (France and the UK). They didn’t do that by launching missiles, and sending soldiers are boats or planes… they did that by having people sit in front of computers and code.

We have to rethink how we approach defense spending and priorities. It does no good to plan for the last war, when the next war will look nothing like it.
