I’ve never seen that question asked of Republican candidates. It really feels there is extra pressure for Democrats to be seen as bipartisan with little if any for Republicans. And absolutely. There are a lot of Democrats that would be great for the job just as he was great for the job for Obama. Anyhow, I asked my Dad who he liked for Biden, he said Harris. I think that would be a good ticket. I know there’s an impression that Kamala’s talents would be wasted as VP but I think she would do good in that role. I definitely think Biden should if he’s the nominee seriously consider a woman and or a POC and Harris fits that but not only that, she’s qualified. She’d be a great attack dog but she’d also be great on policy too.

Biden doesn’t need someone with FP expertise as a running mate; if the ticket wins, this would provide perfect positioning for Kamala to gain that experience and then run to succeed Biden.
