Dolobene gel is very commonly used here by older Czechs (and sometimes younger people too). I recognized the “DMSO smell” the first time I encountered it here….my ex-wife used it when she sprained her ankle one time. I remembered it because my grandmother used it back in the early 1980s, when it was being hailed as a medical miracle.
