99% of the time, boards of elections work in obscurity and anonymity because they’re bureaucrats who do the job of counting votes and preserving the image that the election results are sacrosanct.

2020 has ripped the mask off the GOP and their willingness to throw all of it away for a fascist fucker in the WH. The names of those GOPers on the Wayne County board are now known nationwide precisely because of their intent to purposefully disenfranchise half a million voters because they wanted Trump to win despite knowing full well he lost precisely because those half a million voters overwhelmingly voted for Trump’s rival.

Trump has encouraged all kinds of election related crimes, from voter fraud to election fraud (these are different actions and crimes - in size and scope). Voter fraud where he encouraged people to vote twice. Election fraud where he called on GOPers in various states to nullify the results of actual elections and millions of voters so he could claim victory.

We know that he’s tried interfering in elections. He’s had others try to interfere. Just today we learned that Graham tried to get Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada officials to flip the switch for Trump despite Trump losing by hefty margins.

The GOP election interference campaign must be investigated and prosecuted. We need to expose the criminality and misconduct and how the GOP has abrogated the social contract putting party above nation and that there are consequences for this.

Democrats simultaneously must GOTV and keep GOTV in every election from the local level on up. All elections matter, and as we head into redistricting, this too matters.
