Though this year gave more excuse than usual, I prefer to avoid people at all costs on “Black Friday” and go nowhere near stores if possible. I did this today instead:

I usually to go to a pottery sale that about a dozen potters hold in a Minneapolis church every Thanksgiving weekend. My favorite record store is on the way home and everything is 20% off on Black Friday. The pottery sale was rightly cancelled, and the record store is open this weekend but I don’t want to go there. They heavily limit the number of people in the store so there was probably a waiting line to get in anyway.
