Beginning Friday, South Korea will begin mass inoculations with the Oxford/AstraZenica vaccine, about 2.5 months after other wealthy industrial countries did. Saturday they will begin distributing the Pfizer vaccine amongst healthcare professionals.

Because the virus never spread out-of-control there due to South Korea’s aggressive strategies when the virus first appeared, that gave the nation more time to develop strategies to quickly and effectively distribute the vaccine.
