I remember a teeny-bopper band from the ‘60’s, “The Archies” consisting of whatever spare musicians were hanging around the studio at the time, who had one really lame song “Sugar Sugar.” For some reason that probably has to do with shady studio ethics, this “song” remained at #1 on the charts, above the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Fucking top 50 chart, how does it work? You can’t explain that!

That song will always remind me of the roller skating rink where it played incessantly in the 70’s. If I never hear it again, it will be too soon.
