Yes, but they are things we could target more easily. Plus they are military units engaged in warfare against their own people, and hence the moral case for destroying them is strong and easy to make. And aiding aircraft in targeting arty positions is a job SF tends to be very good at.

Of course if the B-2s were used to destroy the Syrian government’s C3I infrastructure simultaneously, well, I’d hardly be unhappy.
