Why are you choosing to engage with comments like that, and not the reasonable ones being made to you?

I understand that you’re upset that your candidate lost. But you’ve said a lot of things which simply aren’t true. The US has been recovering from a recession under Obama. It’s slow going, mostly because we’ve stupidly cut a lot of government spending, but unemployment is back down and if we hadn’t cut all those public jobs, it’d be even lower.

We’re all still Americans. We all still have the same mutual problems to solve. The following four years will have a lot of challenges. Let’s work together to find middle ground, practical solutions. It’s going to require that the GOP abandon their anti-science and anti-reality positions, though. And I’m not sure they’re ready to do that. This may not be enough.
