Now, here we go with the semantics again. What Christians think of as the Bible isn’t the same as what Jew’s think of as the Bible.

As I understand it. There is the Pentateuch & the Talmud, which for Christian’s is the 1st Testament. and then they include the 2nd Testament.

Then there are the various versions. I have a feeling that the Catholic version is considered the work of Satan by some Christians. They would not consider it THE Bible.

The Pentateuch is the first 5 books of the Bible (also called “Five Books of Moses”). After that comes the books of the Prophets, then the Writings.

The Talmud is not part of the scriptural canon, it contains discussions of laws based on the scriptures.
