I always thought that the purple comic sans “wingnut” was reserved for quoting/paraphrasing/parodying rightist wingnuts, I think we need another typeface (or at least a different color) called “moonbat” for quoting leftist wingnuts.

Of course then again, we might need a completely different font for quoting people who are so batshit crazy that you cannt really tell which end of the nutbag spectrum they are broadcasting from

Batshit font is usually just Times New Roman, but multicolored and bold / italic / underlined / blinking. Minimum 36 point, always centered (as opposed to left or right justified), no spaces between paragraphs.

But the One True Batshit Font would have to resemble this:
