They simply can’t be grownups, which is why most of them need to act like this. Carrying openly rifles like they live in warlord parts of the world instead of suburban America? Cage matches as if that settles real issues? They are defending the indefensible which is why they act like toddlers and their Toddler in chief.
Notice how they go right to “confiscation”, like the gun reform advocates want nothing less than to take their binkies away from them. Nobody so far wants to go in that direction, or to abolish the Second Amendment. But even suggesting that those who are clearly not fit, either temporarily or permanently, to not carry, and those who are fit, do so responsibly, is too much for these children.
