Not the funniest thing I’ve heard so far. The Breitbartians are talking of barely-secret coup in the works amongst the House GOP. The suggested repalcement? Paul Ryan.

Ryan has been pretty clear he’s not going to go along with such a thing. Even if Boehner got pitched, Ryan couldn’t replace him, simply because Obama couldn’t negotiate with Paul Ryan after all the time his campaign spent attacking Ryan during the election without Obama’s own base feeling betrayed.

Paul Ryan would probably like to be House Speaker, but he knows he can’t do that job right now.
