I didn’t retire, was disabled after seventeen years (thus the VA benefits for me and military benefits for my family were automatic).

I can see why people would turn to Canada or Mexico to get medications when our system is set up to protect corporations and not people.

Canada and Mexico shouldn’t have to subsidise our patients with their taxes, sadly, unless our country fixes our own problems or those countries ban Americans from using their medical care systems, that will continue.

My wife had three fillings repaired in Mexico (no wait) when she broke one there on a visit for $7.

Medical tourism is a real thing.
